To enhance the productivity, profitability and sustainability of Vanilla-Jatropha production-consumption value chain in eastern
Africa
sub-region based on an integrated / efficient Vanilla-Jatropha production system
Goal
The goal of VJDF is increased economic growth and improved livelihoods in eastern
Africa
sub-region while enhancing the quality of the environment. VJDF will contribute to this broad goal by enhancing the contribution of Vanilla-Jatropha commodities to the agricultural (and national) gross domestic product (GDP).
